Wow! Thanks to everyone who came out on the Palm Tree Ride! We had a great turnout, around 30 people, and the weather was good.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Craig Naichons (aka the Orange "South African" house) who was kind enough to talk to us and spoke about all the tropical plants around his house.
Sean Hogan, owner of Cistus Nursery (responsible for many of the palms and exotics in the Portland area) who allowed us to check out his fabulous tropical garden in his back yard.
Laurelwood Pizzeria Brewery, who provided beer and pizza (though not for free).
