Hey kids, just a reminder that the
PALM TREE RIDE is tomorrow, Saturday January 19!
Meet at 11am at Velo Cult, 1969 NE 42nd (north of Sandy)
(leave Velo Cult at 11:30am) Come along for a leisurely tour of the multitude of palm trees and other tropical, evergreen, and just plain exotic vegetation growing in the city. Flat-ish terrain, about 7 miles total. Plenty of stop and possibility of a refreshment break or two. Emphasis on leisurely.
Please also note: Ride is
NOT a loop. As with most of my rides, the routing is a mystery. I will say that this ride stays strictly in N/NE, but that's
all I'm saying.
Weather looks to be nice, sunny and a high of 43F/6C, so no excuses. Remember: while it will be "nice" in terms of January, we do stop a lot so you can get a little chilly.
Dress appropriately.
