I'm back!

After two months away, I am finally back home, in the City of Roses. The trip was long. Fun and stressful, invigorating and exhausting. Read all about it here.

So since I'm back in town, what does this mean for the Urban Adventure League?
Unfortunately, not much for now. The past week and the next couple will be busy with getting my ducks in a row. I'm currently looking for work, and until then, I can't really commit to much with the UAL. (If you have any job leads or offerings, please let me know!) And I have no idea what my work schedule will be. I may have to take a "Peak Seasonal" type of job that will have rotating, undefined days off. If that happens, it will be very hard to set up any adventures.

And I don't have much time or energy for new adventures. There are some that I am thinking about, but really won't be able to work on until 2006. I would like to redo my two walking excursions (Council Crest Climb, South PDX Expedition) soon, so that may be what's up for the remainder of the year. I don't think I'll do my typical "publicity blitz" for them, but I will post info here and on my mailing list. Then y'all can RSVP if you're going to come.

What about the future?
I want to make 2006 the most exciting year yet for the Urban Adventure League! There will be some new adventures, a big push during PedalPalooza, a return of the Pedal Potluck Picnic (hopefully this time from Memorial Day to Labor Day), and more more more! I also want to put on the Second Annual Wintertime Palm Tree Ride either in Jan or Feb. The best way to keep abreast of all the fun is to keep watching here or join my mailing list! Drop a line at urbanadventureleague@scribble.com

Hope to see y'all soon!
