REMINDER: The FIRST INSTALLMENT of our Urban Nature Hike Series will happen THIS SATURDAY, 22 March! Meet up at 10:30am at the Hawthorne Hostel, 3031 SE Hawthorne Blvd. For our first hike, we’ll head over to SW and trek through Marshall and Tryon Creek Parks. This forested corridor follows the waters of Tryon Creek and provides not only a great respite from our urban environment, but will give us a chance to see spring in action. Bring water and a snack/lunch, we’ll be out there for a bit. Also bring bus fare ($1.75 to and from or $4.25 for a day pass).
