URBAN ADVENTURE CRAFTINESS HOLIDAY 2009!

With the oncoming onslaught of Thanks-taking, it's a good time to remind y'all of the craft stuff that the Urban Adventure League (that'd be me, Shawn) will be involved in.

First up is the annual Bike Craft Faire put on by Good ol' Jon Maus (along with Nutmegger Elly Blue) of bikeportland.org BikeCraft V will be on Saturday, December 5th from 10am-5pm at Sandbox Studio warehouse located at 420 NE 9th Ave. This one is ALWAYS great (and crazily crowded!)

Next up, Handmade Bazaar is back again! After the ill-fated timing of last year (on the first day of Snowpocalypse), I didn't think it would ever happen again, but it sure is! Handmade Bazaar brought together a collection of scrappy, punky, crafty folks to sell their wares from the years 2000-2006, acting as a precursor to all those glossy craft events we have in town now. This year it'll happen Saturday, December 12th from 11am-4pm at Mississippi Studios, 3939 N Mississippi Ave.

As always, I'll be selling "the usual": Urban Adventure League zines, the Zinester's Guide to Portland, 1" buttons, screenprinted postcards, posters, and other ephemera.

BUT WAIT! This year, I'll be debuting my new "Cycle Portland" poster (see image above), hand screen-printed by Keegan Wenkman of Keegan Meegan studios. Do you want to buy one? Well, stop by!
