It's that time of the year again...time for the PALM TREE RIDE!

Oh yeah, if it ain't my favorite annual bicycle ride that I do! This will be the SIXTH ANNUAL installment! If you don't know what it's like, check out photos from the past years:
Steev Hise 2005
Jonathan Maus/Bikeportland 2007
Brad Reber 2008
Brad Reber 2009

and the details:
PALM TREE RIDE SUNDAY JANUARY 17 11am starts at Tiny's on MLK, 2031 NE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Take Trimet

Because winter in Portland really isn't as bad as some people make it out to be, so here's a bicycle ride to prove it! Come along for a tour of the multitude of palm trees and other tropical and evergreen vegetation growing in the city. We always do each year's ride differently, and this one we'll explore some new areas. Ride should last about four hours or so, with plenty of stops and maybe a refreshment break. Ride not a loop. Rain or shine!

  1. Sorry I can't make it! I'd love to come along on one of these. If you need to drum up participants, I'd recommend http://community.livejournal.com/damnportlanders/
it's pretty active, and a lot of people are on there asking about fun free stuff to do.
