Hello Friends! If you've been following this blog, you might know that our departure date for the Big Tour is Wednesday May 25, just two days away! Well, I've been stressing out because I've got too much to do before leaving town, namely pack a house, store the house, and finish some art. So for sanity's sake, I've pushed back the departure date one day to Thursday May 26th. It's nice to have a little breathing room. In the next day or two I'll share with y'all the itinerary for the first leg.
In IndieGoGo campaign news, we just reached $300 of donations, 10% of the goal we hope to raise by July 4. Thanks to all of the supporters! And it's not too late to help out! The money donated to our campaign goes towards day-to-day expenses on the road. And the end product of the tour (besides the blogging adventures you will all be following) is a book! So please help out if you can! If you donate at least $20 you'll get a supporter credit, at $30 you'll get a postcard from the road, at $100 you'll get a signed copy of the book when it's done, and $250 gets you original art from me! (And a side note: while IndieGoGo accepts Paypal and credit card payments, we have access to the money from Paypal donations almost instantly, while other types of payment will not be deposited to my bank account until after the campaign is over.)
