Exploring the urban environment through fun human-powered adventures, riding bicycles, and gawking at bicycles in and around Portland, Oregon, Cascadia
April 4, 2012 marks my eleventh anniversary of living in Portland. I talked about "The Day", April 4, 2001 last year on the decade anniversary. After re-reading that entry, I don't think I could say it better. So go read it!
Happy anniversary! I had an anniversary over the weekend...11 years to the day my co-driver wrecked me in my own Freightliner out in Utah, breaking my neck in multiple places, adding the :disabled" part to my username/blog's name (I did continue to work until 2008 when I was forced to "retire" from all forms of work though)....LOL,not as bad a memorial as that may sound,as that day might have been a dark one in anyone's life,it was the beginning of me changing who I am to (hopefully) a much better person than the sorry sack I was before ;) :P
Comments less than three days old will go "live" without prior approval. I reserve the right to remove comments that are inappropriate, inflammatory, and/or inane. And spammers: Don't. Just don't. (Hint: if you leave a vague comment that links to a commercial website, it's gone.)

Happy 11th anniversary! My husband and I also made it to 11 years in Portland. It's a lovely city.
